Ellen Cohn, PhD, is a biology teacher at the Bronx High School of Science, a specialized public high school in New York City in which admission is by a competitive exam. She grew up in New York and received her BS from MIT and her PhD in Immunology from Cornell Medical College. In addition, she performed post-doctoral studies at Mount Sinai in New York City before becoming a science teacher.
