Career Paths

The New Career Paths page explores the many alternative careers that are available to life science PhDs and MDs. Your choice depends on your passions, personality, and other skills. You may choose to add to your skill set (see Skill Building). A good place to start is the Kiersey Temperament Sorter, which helps you to think about what motivates you at work and what kinds of jobs and roles work well for you. You can then take this information to the Path Categories listed below, which are specially selected because of their match with your science background. Also, you might find the Career Guides listed in the Bookstore to be helpful. Buy them here, or look them up in your campus library.
